Lexi Scatena, 21, known as "The Girl With The Pink Guitar," is an Indie Pop and R&B singer-songwriter in Reno-Tahoe. Scatena started professionally pursuing music in 2019, focusing on releasing her own singles and collaborating with various artists on other works.

Scatena started the COVID-19 pandemic hastily returning early from her study abroad in Madrid, Spain in March 2020.  While the pandemic has changed Scatena's songwriting and performance processes, it has not stopped her from regularly releasing music. Since social distancing became the norm, Scatena has released four new songs: two singles and two artist collaborations. One of Scatena's collaborations with local rapper Young Presley about life while in quarantine—"Trash 2020"—recently passed 48,000 streams on Spotify.

Performing has also changed due to a lack of venues and smaller audiences. Scatena frequently performs at restaurants like Fat Cat Bar & Grill in Midtown, Reno where she also works as a hostess. Besides finding work as a singer-songwriter, Scatena juggles her other life responsibilities as a Senior at the University of Nevada, Reno studying journalism and Spanish.
